What is this guy?

srsb Sep 19, 2006 07:36 PM

This little guy was on my brick patio this afternoon. He is very small---thinner than a pencil and maybe 6-8 inches long. I gave him a Gatorade cap of water and he curled up inside it.

His red stripes are a brick red color, the white is kind of a light tan, and there are thin black stripes.

I live in a semi-rural area near Frederick, Maryland.

He sure is cute!!

Here is kind of a "side view".

He is "checker board" pattern on his side and bottom.

Sorry for the poor picture quality!

Thank!
