silver in the pattern?

ProfW Sep 19, 2006 09:39 PM

Hi all--

When I was a kid, I saw a picture of a cornsnake that had lots of silver and black in the pattern, and I've always thought it was very striking. Just this evening I was browsing Kathy Love's site and saw two snakes, in her photo montage of "Normal" corns, with lots of silver in their patterns, too. Here's the link: www.corn-utopia.com/Corn%20Utopia%20on%20the%20Web/Photo%20&%20Image%20Stockpile%20-%20CornUtopia/Normal%20corn%20collage,%204%20pics%20-%20CAPTION.jpg

My question is, How common is it to find a corn with lots of silver? Is there any particular name for such snakes? And does anyone breed for such a silver-intensive pattern? I think they're awfully neat. Thanks,

Wayne
