...i decided to hit 277 last night...what can i say...i was bored. yep, just as i suspected...not much moving..plus, my q-beam decided to "take a dump" ! oh well...one atrox AOR on the way, but thats about it....too cold...

If you have the time, make your way to Alpine / Fort Davis.... You can still be disappointed, but you will be disappointed in a cool locality

yeah, i would've liked to head further west...i figured there would be a better chance there...but 277 is a reasonably easy drive from austin for a "overnight" trip....

i got there a bit late...about 11pm...i was out for a bit, in a bright yellow van...unfortunately, my q-beam too a dive, so i was relegated to a portable spot...so i gave up pretty early...in by about 12:30...didnt think i was missing much ...wish i wouldve seen you though, at least we couldve gone and got a coffee or something !

i hope all is well...its been a few years...last time i saw you i was wish dave long, jim dobis, and brett nelson...

anyway, i recently (last week) moved to austin, so i'm sure i'll be out quite a bit next spring/summer....

Go for coffee? Nah, always have some with me. I don't tote my coffee maker with me these days, but do have 3 thermos so I don't run out.
