JethrozMom Aug 05, 2003 07:36 PM

I'm 23 and until last week i had a male veil and a female jackson. I had had a pair of jacksons but the male died unexpectedly right after i recieved them.

In the future i'm looking at getting mellers, but that's after i have some more experience.

*hugs*

Chronologically, I'm 34. I have veileds, panthers, and jacksons. I keep other things, but I'm limiting my response to chameleons.

I guess I can respond to this.

Hello everyone, I am a newbie here.

My name is Matt, I am 24, and I will have a 3 month old male veiled next week thanks to "Anson"

I also just got married 3 weeks ago and closed on my first home last week.....Oh, and a baby on the way too....the human variety that is. I feel like I have aged 20 years in the last month.

lele Aug 06, 2003 01:06 PM

You sure do have a lot going on! When is the baby due? Make sure you get all your cham obsessing out of the way b/f your little human newbie arrives so you you can obsess over her/him!

Good luck!

I am 47 and have kept chams since 1994. Can't say how old my oldest is as they are almost all wc. I did have a wc verrucosus who lived about 6 years in captivity. A nice old gent. So far I've kept calyptratus, jacksoni, verrucosus, melleri, 2 species of fischeri, deremensis, and cristatus. Most were rescues in various stages of health problems. I've worked with herp shops as a temporary caretaker for sick chams too. I had the melleri for 3 years but sent them to another keeper (who could keep them outdoors) when I moved far north. I think one is still around 2 years later. I also keep tropical birds, boas, and do some wildlife rehab (songbirds, raptors, bats and flying squirrels so far).

anson Aug 06, 2003 05:09 PM

Im 41 and my name is Sonia. I live in Florida where I am co owner of a frame shop/art gallery. Anson is the name of the gallery. I have a Nosey Be panther, an Ambanja panther, a female Veiled and her babies. I have about 50 herps right now including my two beardies. The number changes because I also breed cresteds, day and leopard geckos.
I am also an artist and enjoy photography. My favorite subject matter is nature.

mbmcewen Aug 06, 2003 10:38 PM
