Want to get a pair

WindyO Sep 21, 2006 08:58 PM

I've never owned one before but I have been thinking about them for awhile. I was wondering where i could find info on caring for and breeding them. I already breed Leopard geckos so I only want to try a pair.
I was also wondering if anyone can recommend a good breeder that breeds the blue ones and or red ones.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I bought a beautiful blue/green somalian from Lindsay at Urotopia.com and have been very happy with his health, temperment and apperance. Lindsay has always been very helpful answering all of my questions. You can also find a good care sheet at deerfernfarms.com. I spoke with you months ago when I was considering purchasing my first gecko. I know you are very dedicated to your animals and think it's great that you are considering a uro. Good luck in your research.

If by "Blue" you mean Somali I would probably recommend going the route of the Red (although they are really more orange I don't get it) Saharan/Geyri/Nigerian. Somali's are considered to be very difficult and hard to get to start eating.
