Out of my two clutches this year, this one came out with the widest bands and is the most attractive IMO. I love how he has no red in him at all. Can't wait to see how he looks a year from now.

That's beautiful! Awesome quality of picture too...what cam did you use?

Thanks! I use a Canon Digital Rebel XT. I'm not too fond of the glare from the flash but it's about the best I can get from indoor pics using what I have...kit lens and no external flashes.

yeah those are beauties,sean...hey you may have heard of this trick already i bet-but even for the basic integral flash, not the detatchable one-i have taped a sliver of opaque plastic(e.g. milk carton, etc.) over it to help reduce the glare, but still doesn't hinder the light too much, just diffuses it.

Really??? I've never heard that..I'm excited to try it though. Thanks.

I use the bottom of an alcohol bottle over my speedlight and it gives me nice results. So you could try cutting a square of that material as it is almost exactly the same stuff they use for the professional Sto-Fen diffusers.

Yeah, I know about that trick but don't ever use it because of the pop up flash. One of these days I'm going to buy an external flash with a diffuser...one day.

yeah dude that's what i'm talking about-even on my pop-up flash,it folds back down into place, the 'diffuser' i taped over it with clear tape doesn't interfere with it's ability to open and close.genius,huh?lol.give it a shot.
