in the second and third your auto focus missed the snake completely...it focused on the grass behind it.
If you have an auto focus "point" in your viewfinder, you need to make sure that it is aligned with the head of the snake. Check your manual.

Very pretty snake. I love the black mark under his eye. Are you going to try to breed those two??
...im going to try and introduce them in November,and in a few years im going to try and breed him with my firebelly x pastel...
i love the black marks too,he has one on each side like clown tears,my big female has them too only hers are thicker...
