hi, does it sound normal that my monitor stopped growing all of a sudden? I weight and measure my monitor monthly. last month he didn't grow at all. I checked his measurements on the 7th and since im leaving sunday, out of country for 3 months I measured him again today. he's grown 1/4 in. but doesn't weight any more than last. for the past four months he was growing at about 1 3/4 in. a month. now he stopped. he is now 28 1/4 in in length. his diet is the same and still sheds. should i be worried at all about anything? oh he is a sav.

Don't worry about it as long as you are practicing good husbandry. I have a bearded dragon that grew like a weed when I first got her and stopped when she got to half the size of normal. It's genetics...there's short people, tall people. Enjoy 'em for what he is. Sometimes, the freaks turn out to be the coolest.
