...was it bed to a sonoran,etc. to obtain the amelanism,or did it pop up in a cape by itself?

Haven't been able to trace them back far enough to find out for sure. I've heard opinions that they may have come from a Sonoran cross, but I would say the yellow definitely comes from the Baja, I've only seen mainly oranges in the Sonorans...what about you?
