Is there such thing as a true lavender?

Starling Aug 05, 2003 05:34 PM

I thought most supposed lavenders eventually lose their lavender. But I was noticing today that one of my geckos which is now almost 2 years old still has lavender.

Does anyone know if there are any "true" lavenders or id all eventually lose that coloration (even if it takes 3-5 years)?

well, i think a true lavender, other then tremper's lavender albino, the one with the purple eyes, is just a normal leo that by chance didnt lose all the lavender. i wouldn't pay anymore for one then i would a normal.

i gotta post pics of my guy Boo, he's got alot of lavender in him but tonight i noticed he's shed and where some of the bands of lavender were its now looking like it has a yellow tinge.

I'd pay big for an all purple gecko (adult). Purple is my favourite colour

I've had lots of gex retain lavender late, though usually not over 1.5 years as in this one
