depends..........I offered one to a guy at a show I know for $500 and he took the 66% poss het for $250 instead.....they were both capable of breeding next year with the right TLC and food.......it's all who is selling and who is buying.......and where you live......I still have a couple hets from last year and dozens from this year.........and 7 for myself that are 2 years old and 5 years old..........somw people wholesale and some like to retail only........

Do you mean in a few months, or actually a year from now? You will have a tough time finding a female for sale that will go this coming season, but if you mean in the 08 season I would not pay more than around $600 depending on weight.

It cracks me up how many people just asume they can get a female to size in one season. Its rare. I agree 2000$ or not at all.

Yeah its hard to get a female up in one season. But my male born 6/31/06 at 65 grams is now 325 as of sept 24 2006

Its not rare, most captive bred and well fed females are fully capable of producing eggs their second winter (picky eaters excluded).
