Just acquired a litter of 12 of these to be distributed among friends for breeding purposes. Their common name is Flame Snake and they are a 2-3 foot rear-fanged colubrid which feeds on frogs and lizards but does take to rodents well.

Last July I saw a DOR Petola in Iquitos. It had a mouse in it's stomach. Pretty cool, wish it was alive!
