Hey Dan,

Mine are still youngsters but are absolute pigs. I've never had one refuse a meal. It makes me wonder how big they get.

Didn't you have some adults at one time and how big were they?

Doug: I never had adults but had a pair before that either had a virus or were somewhow poisioned because they lasted only a week here? In any case, I imported this pair from Germany and they both nabbed defrosted pinks the next day so that is a great start.

Now I did see some wild caught adults at a wholesaler a few years ago and they were about 4 foot long but the import process did not do them well so I passed on them. I will be importing several different philodryas species (CB) in the near future, so keep in touch.

Hi,
I had a pair a while back and have heard from the current owner that the female is pushing 6 feet, and I gather that is about as big as they get. And man can they chow!

It would certainly be great to see some more Philodryas in the trade. I'd love to get some myself.
