Most of my little BP's insist on flipping their water dish (deli-cup), spilling water everywhere. Does anyone have tips/suggestions on how to prevent this??? I've tried velcro and had no luck. Please help.

Thanks in advance,

T

use a heavier water dish that can't tip from a snake hanging on it.

You can go to home depot and get PVC couplings.
I think the 4" ones are what you need.
They only cost a couple bucks each and its really an awesome system. The deli cups fit in perfectly.

Good luck,

Scott

I use either wide based plastic cat or dog water dishes or ceramic bowls I can find at the dollar store (dollarrama). Never had a problem with these being tipped over. Though my texas rat snake started flipping his cat dish over by trying to get underneath it,so switched him to a ceramic dish and so far he hasn't flipped that over.

I hot glue a deli cup to the bottom of a bin. Then I use it to hold another deli cup filled with water. When you're ready to change, just toss the removeable one and place a clean one in!

I do this with my hatchlings...I got it from Prehistoric Pets, and it works great!
