I am getting ready to bring home some very tiny western hognose hatchlings and I am a little nervous. I have been reading up on them for a while and I have worked with adults but have never cared for hatchlings. They are so tiny and seemingly so fragile that I want to make sure everything is perfect for them. I want to have them set up in 10 gallon aquariums. I may use newspaper as a substrate until they get a little bigger. My biggest concern is temperature and humidity. Do you all keep it the same as for the adults or do they need it a little cooler? I would be grateful for any suggestions and/or advice to help make sure that my babies thrive!
