OK ya'll just a general opinion question....... What would make a good hybrid between a Male MBK and (Your answer here)

I think you will find that very few people here are fond of hybrids.

I have seen wild intergrades between nigrita and cal kings which can be interesting snakes, but not prettier than either "pure" subspecies. I have seen similar wild intergrades with splendida and they aren't pretty either.

I have also seen a captive intergrade between eastern (getula) kings and nigrita, and they were downright ugly.

bloodred corn snake, ive heard that since mbks have no pattern they make solid colored hybrids, this cross would be a solid dark dark red (i think)

actually mbk's do have a pattern it is just covered up with all that black and all you would do is make a patterned dark snake.
animal dreams was selling some mbk crosses in the classifieds if you email them they will send you pics,they were not very attractive.
if you want to hybridize it i would suggest something with a hypo gene showing. you could get a nice silvry solid snake in the f2 generation.

well, I would not cross it myself but have seen some corn X mbk and they do not turn out solid colored. at least not the ones I saw.
