I was wondering how often everyone changes the water for their snakes. I try to do it three times a week, and I feel bad whenever I forget to do it or don't get around to it. Just want to see if I'm stressing myself for nothing or not. Thanks in advance.

I completely change once a week, or when they have pooped in it (rare) or gotten substrate into it. I top it off as needed.

I guess I'm about the same. My little Speckled went for a stretch of about a week where all she did was poop in her water. Then i was changing it daily.

I dump out and change the water in all my cages at least once a week. Of course if they have pooped in it, I wash it completely and refill with fresh water.

Good point.
I'll start putting mountain dew in their water dishes.

I will fill all mine with coffee. I just now gotta figure out the ratio of Half and Half vs. coffee in each bowl, since they are different sizes.

True story - when my burmese pythons were young, it was a hot day and we had made sun tea. One of them stuck its nose in and started drinking it. We stopped it, of course, not knowing if anything in the tea was toxic for snakes - but it was kind of funny.

LMAO! That is hilarious! Guess the snake wanted a cold drink too.
