The other day my female tortoise got poked in the eye by one of the males' nails during a breeding frenzy. Her eye has since become irritated and is tearing rather heavily. She is being treated with ointment but today I noticed a bit of nasal discharge. Not thick or heavy but of the same consistancy as tears. I am wondering if the tearing that is obvious on the outside could also be the cause for the sudden nasal discharge. I know that when a person gets something in their eye it often causes their nose to run.
Any thoughts??
