Hello. My friend recently gave me a nile monitor, which i sold to him two years ago. I would say its about 4.5 ft with tail. This guy built the nile a 3 story cage (about 5 ft. tall), and one day he says the lizard fell from the 3rd to the 1st story and landed right on its neck. Now he took it to the vet and they say they can't do anything. he thinks its a broken neck, but it looks more like a kinked neck to me. I think its been like this for a little less than a year. He can still eat, but it seems so difficult. He just throws his neck around hoping to grab the food. He just seems like he doesn't have full support of his neck, but he can move it. its just really wobbly. Do you guys have any idea what it could be or what i should do? He was aggressive, but since the incident he is no longer. I think maybe he doesn't have the power.
