Regurg Update

BaskingRock Sep 25, 2006 09:09 AM

I posted a few weeks ago about a young BRB that had regurged several times. Thanks to all of the good advice I got here I waited two weeks and then fed him a pinky. He ate it well and has kept it down since last Tuesday.

My question now is how long do I wait to feed him again? Tomorrow will be a week since he ate the last pinky. Should I wait another week or attempt another pinky tomorrow?

Thanks,
Jamie

Keep the food items small for another couple of feedings and since it now has a history of regurge, try to be extra careful to not overfeed it. AKA, watch feeding it too large of a prey item. Regurges can cause damage and the larger the regurge, the greater the damage. Take it slow and steady.
