I volunteer at a zoo and they have a ring python was normal once but now is far from it. It is in a bad shed right now but over time it has become awkward shaped. It is kinda vertically flattened but that part of the body lays side-ways and flat on the bottom of the cage. It is eating but man its body looks so messed up. They said the vet did not know what was wrong with it but it looks like something that will not heal. Any ideas???
