Fired up?

sleepygecko Sep 25, 2006 02:34 PM

I've seen wonderful color differences when cresties are all fired up, but I haven't seen any changes in mine. Without harmfully stressing her, how do you guys safely fire up a crestie for inspection and maybe a photo or two?

Quite possibly, it could be the color difference is very subtle in my crestie and I just haven't noticed. She's a gold chevron if that helps. Thanks!

Well they usually tend to fire up at night when they are more active. So you can try turning the lights off for a while to make it think that it's night time and let it get a little active and it should fire up the most it can
