Just some questions

airjordan2thr33 Sep 25, 2006 03:07 PM

Hey there i am contemplating buying a blood python in the future. I have been reading and have some questions. If i were to buy, it would be a juvenile snake. I have heard that they tend to be ill tempered and was wondering if worked with as a baby, can they be docile? Also if there is a tempermant difference in the different types of bloods. Thanks and sorry if these are stupid questions.

Mike

Yes if bloods aren't worked with when young they will have a bad attitude.I have two adults that are Captive Bred and are real nasty. No fun at all.I can't believe they are Captive Bred.It is so hard just to clean the cage.I never get to see or interact with them at all.On the other hand the babies that I just hatched out are ALL PUPPY DOG TAME.I have worked on them from day one.I stroke there heads so they won't be head shy.It works.
