looks like more blotchie eggs!

lele Sep 25, 2006 06:34 PM

I had really hoped they were done, but I had seen Stan his "mating blue" and I hoped she was refusing him. But she was digging in a plant today. I had noticed the soil kicked around a lot but I had only seen Stan in the pot and couldn't figure out why it was all over - especially today. Then I heard this funny scratching sound - and there she was, kicking up a storm! I think I was in denial even though she did seem a bit "full." She is in her laying tank and I'm guessing eggs by morning...we shall see. Wasn't really planning for this so late in the season.

within minutes of moving her Stan dove into the sand and never came back out. He always misses her. Even some days when she sleeps late or doesn't come out he is all mopey

yeah, I've even thought of separating them until spring but Ithink Stan would die of a broken heart! As of now only one basking light and lower temps. They burrow and sleep a lot more so I am sort of surprised, but we had a few hot days and they must have thought it was summer again!

She hasn't laid them yet, will keep ya posted!
