This morning, one of my CB 2005 BRB died. Stopped feeding two weeks ago. Noticed it was getting darker over that time, but thought that it was time for a shed. Its cagemate just stopped feeding. Has anyone seen this before?

Something similar happened to me several years ago. They did'nt show any signs of being sick and it only affected my rainbows. I kept the rainbows on cypress mulch. I suspected a poison or disease in the cypress. I heard before of things like this happening. No other snake was on cypress so I can't say for sure in my case. When I got BHB's again I kept them on moist newspaper which I kept moist and place an UTH on the cage. No problems with this technique although you must clean the cage every week or two for best results. It did'nt look real good but worked.
