It probably would only cost $30 or so for the vet to look at him, and the medicine might only be a little bit more. You should at least call around and see what people charge for office visits. It might not be as much as you think.

You have 2 choices, take it to a vet, or give it to someone who will.

Sounds a lot like a respitory infection with the puffing and bubbles and all. Definately only a vet could help with that, it will not go away on it's own

When my babes were sick I worked with the vet to set up a payment plan. I wrote several post dated checks that they deposited every 15 days. If you dont have a checking account, another option may be to disucss it with your parents, see if they have the means to help you care for this pet. Explain that it means alot to you and that WD's are not disposable just because they are reptiles. You can pay them back with each paycheck you earn. There are options if you want to investigate them. Personally, I could not just sit and watch my reptile get progressivly worse without intervening in some way.

Good Luck.

Each time we adopt or buy a pet we take on all the resposibilities of that pet....especially when the animal is sick.
You have to find a way to get the money for the vet...work and get a loan (from a relative or friend) or go to the vet and work off your bill....it's not your WD's fault you adopted him with absolutely no forethought....he has no clue of knowing that you care on the other side of the glass....nor does it matter.
No one on this forum is a vet and even they were they can't diagnose over the net or perscribe meds...you pet needs meds.
Go to the vet.

If your not going to go to the Vet, kick the heat up and hope for the best.
