been posting alot lately, but this one is a nervous one. Here is the underside of my petco gecko. Its been eating and pooped a few times in the week or so ihave had it, but now on the underside it doesnt look normal, for one, theres alot of blue, and on the underside where thye poop theres a white thing, and the area looks swollen, she couldnt have been impacted on anything, because shes only eaten silkworms and is being kept on paper towels.

here are the pics.

im worried.

I wouldn't worry about it; the blue thing is his internal organ. You can kindda see through their belly; it's translucent and normal.

The white thing is part their urate; it's part of their pee. They always excrete that along with their feces.

Not normal for it to stick to them though...

Yes, I agree, that's not normal. You'd better watch it for a day or so. Keep us posted.

Give her a nice warm soak to help her pass that.

well i soaked him/her and sure enough took a huuge crap, although it seems to be gone, the area looks unusually red, but ill watch it for a few days.

on another note, got a second much larger hypo tangerine today hah, its eating like a pig, ill post pics tomorow, god im obsessed with these things.

Great! I'm glad that worked for him/her. As far as the redness, I'm going to take a guess that he/she's vent area is a little irritated from being constipated. I would definitely keep an eye on that area. Even a vet visit to make sure all is well is a good idea.

I can't remember who just posted that it looks like she is with eggs, but it doesn't look like it to me. I think he/she is way to small and/or young to be ovulating.

hello, i think your from orange county area in so. ca. but if your not ignore me. there is a wonderfull vet who works on exotics that myself and some other breeders take their animals to. his name is Dr. Greek and the facility is Yorba Linda vetrinary hospital. I would take it emediatly to have a check up and he will probably give you several options if something is wrong. I took my gecko Vegas there to have surgery to get her infected ovaries removed and now because of him she is alive. anyhow that definatly is NOT normal!! and to boot she looks like she may be carying eggs even though she is so young.
