You should never ask a lady her age.

I have to admit I was a bit taken aback, but at 48 (and looking 28 LOL ) I will freely admit to it...but, Ethan, why may I ask do you want to know?

28 is so old to them that they can't even imagine being that old. They fall off skateboards and ten minutes later they don't even remember they fell.
We think twenty eight is so young we can't even remember it.
If we even go near a skateboard we are sent straight to intensive care.

I wouldn't say it was a stupid question. I always wondered myself how old everybody is.

I'm 35, feeling like 85 right now, yesterday I felt about 16 and tomorrow is another day......

Now, the weight thing I agree with! As for the age question I don’t mind it b/c people are always surprised how OLD I am b/c I look younger. I think the big concern is if you think someone is 50 and she turns out to be 35 and you have a stupid look on your face when she tells you!!

Years ago I had a friend who was only 1 month older than me (we were 27 at the time) and I referred to her in conversation with another co-worker and she said "Oh, was that the OLDER woman you were with?" Thank goodness, Loretta wasn't there to hear it! The co-worker was shocked and said she thought she was in her late 30's! YIKES!

In cyber space it's sort of a moot point, though, HUH?

I know you asked the question innocently. Actually I think you always try to be polite and helpfull on this forum.
