Aloe Vera??

salemserpent Sep 26, 2006 10:46 PM

This seems really weird to me, but I was at one of the local pet stores the other day and a guy was telling me that he rubbed aloe vera on his ball python to help it shed/stay smooth. Would that actually help? I thought it was a little odd, to say the least.

I can't see why not. It's non toxix and works on sunburn to keep it moist. I can't see how it could harm a ball python.
