finally took some pictures..

here is my herd of turtles... these were taken on my back porch while i was cleaning out the pen.. the girl in the very front (scarlett) is the one that was attacked by a dog.. you can still see some of the shell damage.. she is also missing an eye.. oddly enough, she is probably the most outgoing of the whole group.. she comes and eats out of my hand and marches along following me around the wall of the pen when i come out to see them.. the last picture is of magma.. my largest turtle by far.. you cant really tell from the picture, but hes a lot bigger than the rest of them..

Great bunch of easterns!

I love the one in the back that you call "agent orange!" You need to post that shot of just him you have. He has such a awesome marked and colorful face!

Those guys look GREAT!! I wolud love to get a few babies from that light colored guy!! What a patteren! I do have a few questions for you. Do you have any pics of their pen? How many is too many in a pen? I am building a pen this winter to keep a few boxies in year round ( in S.E. NC. ) I plan on turning the soil in a corner of the pen so they can dig and covering it with leaves and hay in the winter. Are there any more conciderations ( i have water and shade covered )I need to know? Thanks, Blue
