The beginning of September I put my pair together, mostly to just see what would happen more than anything since this would my my males first time. My female went nuts and cruzed the cage wagging her tail and letting her "stuff" hang out for the world to see. Needless to say she knew exactly what she wanted. Well it did eventually turn into copulation for about a day and a half. After they seperated I put the male back in his own cage. Now just a few days ago I decided to put them back together to see once again what would happen and for 3 days absolutely nothing happened. They both pretty much stayed on opposite sides of the cage??? Could it be that my female is already prego and she knows it so she isn't interested anymore or is she just not in the mood right now?? I guess its kinda hard to answer but my real question is....
Do females know when they are pregnant and stop breeding from that point on or will they just continue to breed?
Its just a complete 180 from the first time, she was like a $2 whore the first time and now she is locked up tight? I guess thats a female for ya, 1 day sure, next day nothin.... ; )
