I finally found a good breeder around my area I got this snake from him yesterday. You could have seen his better colors if the camara was better. The boa was produced by someone by the name of Alex Smith who specializes in high color and pastel colombian boas. The dad was a 'Creme Pastel' and the mom was a high color red/pink colombian boa. He was born in May of 2006. Tell me what you guys think.

Here's cream pastel I received from Alex Smith. He's in his dark phase in the pics and out of the sun. I'll try take some better pics of him. He's got a lot of color when he lightens up, At night that is lol.
Looking good Juan you made a good choice. These Pastels get better with age.

Forgot to mention he's an "06, maybe related.

looks beautiful. Maybe they are related. Do you know what month it was born on? Mine was born on May.

I believe he was born in may. But Alex might have had a few litters at that time. Here's a top view to compare. Pattern looks kind of similar.

That explains why he looks bigger and fatter than mine.

Your snake looks fatter. How often do you feed it? Is it a male or a female? Mine ate a f/t rat pup today. I was suprised he ate because this is only the second day I had him. Im gonna feed him 1 rat pup every 4 days. Hers a blurry pic of a dumerils boa.

It's a male and I feed him every 7-10 days but, he's on medium rats , Alex said b-day was in feb. so he's a few months older.

Medium rat wow mine is still on rat pups.Two months really make a difference.

There about 3-4 months apart, but some do grow faster than others. I have some that were born April and they are half his size, feeding on rat pups. Give him a couple of months, you will see a difference.
