He eats as many dead mice as you offer him, as long as you put them on the "food rock". Once I left his cage open, he escaped for about two weeks, then returned to his cage on his own, waiting for a dead mouse to appear on the "food rock". For this reason I think he is a boy snake but when I got him as a 5 inch hatchling I named him Emily. He's now about three feet long.
what kind of snake is he?
