The last time I had a brown was about five years ago. Since then, I haven't seen a single one in any pet store (there are four in the Montreal area I frequent).

Has anyone seen any, lately?

I'm in Oregon. I recall seeing a couple fairly recently at PetSmart (I think). Of course it was in as sorry a shape as the flocks of greens and geckos in the same tank. RRRRR....

Hi - new to this forum but not to herps. I just got two green and one Bahamian. I hate to admit it but I got it at a PetCo (I usally wouldn't do this but there is a story behind it). I was actually going to post here to get more info on this spp. She was with the greens and there was at least one, maybe two more. I picked out the healthy and she looked unusually healthy but thought her species is just a bit shorter and stockier - which they do seem to be - but as I was looking at her just now I slapped my head and said - duh! I think she is going to be a Bahama Mama! Oh my!

Is there care and husbandry pretty much the same as the greens?

thanks,
lele
