Sorry to post so much.

I there are black dots by her nostrils, I think it might be dirt or something from the bedding I bought her? I'm changing it all, but I can't get it off but gently brushing there.

I don't know what to do about it .

Will it come out when she sheds?

Do the black dots move around?
Sounds like possibly snake mites, which can cause shedding problems.
In any case, a visit to the herp vet may be in order.

i agree... usually unexplained black dots = mites... very easily cured, but a real pain when you have a bunch of herps... thankfully i have not had to deal with that in many years!
