weird question.

Argos_mom Sep 28, 2006 10:32 PM

ok does anyone know what snake sperm looks like?i know its a weird and disgusting question but i found some whitish substance in the hide today and it was like latex paint consistancy, like stretchyish and it was in a line. it didnt look like poo or the plug that comes before the poo. anybody have any ideas? i think they are mating cuz i see the house jump sometimes and they are all over each other.

Sounds like sperm plugs to me. Did you purposely put them together to mate or are you housing them together?

yes to both ?s i housed them together on purpuse with the intention that when they got big enough that hopeufully they would mate. please no flak about that i have been though that already and its the only possible solution right now. anyway they are miserable without each other anyway. but thats what i figured it was. doesnt necessarily mean they wil produce eggs. thanks

LOL, Stevie Ray Vaugh......If the house is a rockin', then don't bother knockin'. Yes it seems they may be mating, and yes, what you found was most likely sperm plugs. Good luck.

balls in the act of actual copulation really don't move at all.....they just lay there ....the average copulation time I have noticed also is about 9 hours of hookup.......so if they actually breed you will notice it.....

balls that are "rockin" their house are usually pushing each other around......saying like "move"...."get away"......and yes they push and shove to say hey "come here a minute".males and females can initiate "flirting" or pre-copulation courtship....

I had a female cal king once rape a male........yes she was bigger ...
