Some pastels are nicer than others, but the line has nothing to do with it.
I realize that. after breeding pastels for years i understand how they vary, sorry about how it was worded I know i said "lines" i just ment in the "pastel contest" i was just curious towards what animals people liked better, thats all, just opinions on the photos and different lines people posted. Being a breeder i am curious to see what "types" people like..
Thats all

In my opinion, if I was buying a Pastel today, to start my Pastel breeding projects, I would buy a pick of the litter Ruppel line or Lemon. OR, I would just go to a show, walk around, and pick out the highest yellow Pastel I could find. I like the fading on the Ruppels, and the dark black and yellow contrast on the Lemons.

I agree i love Lemons , i love the black against yellow look. I love the fact that that they get better with age. It really does pay to find and buy the best examples of any line for breeding projects, it really does make a big difference to spend a little extra..
