I collected some interesting data from my small russian tortoise group tonight that I thought you guys might be more than interested in. It is related to the thread below about light exposure, the affect of heat, etc.
Since it's about tortoises and this is the monitor forum I figured I'd ask you guys what your preference would be before I posted it. Would you rather I send it to you via private messages (emails), or just post some of the data here. Or, conversly, are you even interested in it at all, or not?
Let me know. It's just some basic observations, temperatures I recorded, nesting preferences (since the gravid female finally laid her eggs last week when I created their new setup), etc. etc. It may be things that you already knew before, but I find it extremely interesting how much better the tortoises are doing when I basically started ignoring what others claim to be 'good husbandry'.
