Real nice. Always wanted to get one of these. I wonder why they're not classified under boiga coz they look so similiar. Will it stay red or is it juvenile coloration before it turns brown?

Well of 5 older specimens, some of them are olive colored.

I also have Malpolon monspessulana adults and they also turn the same type of green/olive color as the adult telescopus from the same region in Egypt.

I used to have one. he was WC and when I tried to feed him the first time with an small fuzzy he ate it immidiatly. after a few days I noticed his jaws were weird looking and after inspection found that both his lower jaw bones were sticking out piercing the skin. how and why is still a misterry to me but he died of it. He was greennish reddisch. here are two pics from him.
