First off are they legal to keep ? Who has them and whats the market price on them ? Ive always been fascinated with these little turtles so any info would be greatly appreciated.

They are legal to keep if you have documentation for them. They must be from legal parents, and you'll need a permit to have them and to transport them across state lines. I know Don Hamper works with them. Click on the Breeders/Dealers/Stores part of kingsnake and click on his link. I do believe they are quite expensive.
Bog Turtles are not only Cites 1, but they are ESA as well. Last time I checked, unless you lived in ohio or florida (maybe a couple other states), you can't get them. I looked into getting some a couple years ago and was told that they cannot cross state lines or issue permits, as they didn't have a species survival plan. Anyone who can shed more light on the subject, your experience would be greatly appreciated.
