06 kankakee x axanthic getting her 1rst look at the world this past august. these gals [all females] are quite the little hissers as well but don't yet pack quite the same punch as lil' miss nasty shown above. they're actually much blacker than shown here. i gotta stop using the flash.......

she's not a bluffer, she means to maim! she becomes so maniacal, i've taken to bringing a crucifix into the room when she needs cleaning. LOL! here she is before she had a chance to get worked up........

How is she after you've actually picked her up? I have a male with the same attitude. And he looks a lot like her, with the lighter coloring she has. Whenever I go into his cage he becomes manical. I always need a snake hook to pick him up. Once I have him in my hands though, he might still hiss, but he won't bite. As soon as I put him down he becomes all business again. He will come from the back of his cage, hissing with his mouth open, and striking at any move I make. However, I've never been bitten because I'm careful as possible with him!

yeah, that about describes it jack. not having a snake hook, i'll throw a piece of newspaper over her then hoist her out before she sees my hand coming. this works but is dicey at best & she ain't getting any smaller. :>/ here's some pics of the parents of the little lass shown above. these two are dog tame & never so much have even hissed at me......
