Snake Rack Questions

Geckofanatic23 Oct 01, 2006 08:23 PM

Hey guys! I may have the opportunity to set up a rack for my snakes in the next month or two. I just have some questions regarding size. The rack would contain my bp, who I already know what size box he'll need, my two corns, and Sinaloan milksnake(who I got yesterday and am very happy with). This rack would be four feet high, about 3-4 feet wide, and its depth would depend on what size boxes I use. It would have 7 shelves, housing my current four snakes and letting me add 3 new snakes to my collection, a mexican black kingsnake, cal king, and nelson's milksnake. My question is what size boxes will these guys need on the rack when they're full grown? I already have smaller boxes for them to live in when they're babies, but I'm not sure whether the above mentioned species will need different sized boxes or the same sized ones. I ask this because I would like to know how to configure the rack. Thanks a lot for any replies!

use the biggest tubs you have the room for. All of those snakes need about the same amount of room. something in the area of 30x15 inches would be appropriate.
