My mom found this in Eastern shore Maryland, and just sent me this one picture of it. I can't tell from this what it is, but I figured some of y'all experts could! Thanks a lot,

The pattern of blotches makes me think Eastern Hognose.

That's a nice little eastern hognose. They eat toads in the wild, though some individuals will take mice.
