Pine?

Is it ok to use pine bedding for bat feeders. I've read that pine is bad for snakes. more worried about my snakes than rats. thamks clay

pine is fine.. the rats are allergic to it? mine sneeze and stuff, no real harm though. i think its cedar youre thinking of thats bad for snakes. cedar is toxic to the feeders and the snakes... i use pine with no problems, other the the rats' allergies..dave
