Is this just stress???

Mehen Aug 05, 2003 11:16 PM

I got a baby BP about 2 weeks ago, and it is making a kind of popping sound when it breathes(only occasionally), is this weazing? It is eating fine, I have fed it 3 times. I was just wondering if it could just be stress and what I should look for?

Have you two done your home work before purchasing your pets? This is a respiratory infection, caused by the wrong temperature and/or humidity. Also, you should never buy a pet from a pet store. Buy from an online breeder that is reputable. IT may be cheaper at the store but you will pay for that in vet bills or when your animal dies. Check your temps and humidities. Buy a book on ball pythons. You should be able to cure this without going to the vet depnding on how long it has been since you have seen the symptoms. I hope this helps and in the future do your homework.

This may be a respitory infection. or wheezing.I hope that ur BP will be ok

So, I'm guessing that the best thing to do for now would be too keep the humidity and temp up, right. right now it is 70% humidity and the temp on the warm side is about 88-90 and cool side about 80-82, is this ok?
