Made a turtle tree today while cleaning out the tanks. They stayed like this for about 20 minutes or so... all relaxed...

Athos_76 I was just wondering if you housed them all together or just the snappers, or are they all housed seperately? Jack

They are all housed seperate. Sherman (the biggest) is very aggressive and will bite anything she can. Tiger (the middle) is more docile, and Speedy (the RES) is housed on the other side of the house. Amazingly enough, Speedy is 8 yrs old, and Sherman is 3, tiger is almost 2 and look at the size difference...

They are amazing. My snapper is only about 5 inches across, and I'm wondering how you move yours around since they're so large and obviously heavy?

Out of the water while being watched they don't move much. But once you turn your back they high tail it around the house. And they always end up in the same place. Tiger goes to the corner by the computer, and Sherman goes straight for the sliding glass door. She knows where her tank is...

what do they weigh, approximately? I'll need to do some serious ground level planning in the next year or two, or three.

Sherman is approx 8 lbs or so (guesstimating), tiger is 5 or so...
