So, I wanted to follow up with regarding my success after trying your damp paper towel advice during the last week of incubation...

As you advised I placed a piece of damp paper towel over each of the eggs & i also increased airflow to the eggs during the last week by moving the eggs to a container with a screen top. By making these two changes i had 100% hatch out of the 6 eggs that made it full term..

Earlier this season I had 2 clutches hatch out & I lost hatchlings fully formed but dead in the eggs in both of them.

So, thank you for the advice! I am glad i gave it a try it and i will do this from now on.. You may be on to somthing here.. Maybe you should think about writing a book!!

What do the parents look like? And are they locality specific?

Thanks Brad - These are the parents, they are Loma Alta locality animals that have produced for me for the last 3 years.
