Coastal Carpet housing question.

MrSmith Oct 03, 2006 09:37 PM

I currently keep bp's, but I want something bigger for a display animal and I have decided on a nice female coastal. I have found alot of info as far as keeping them and I have found some book titles to search for at Barnes and Knoble, but I can't find out what vision cage would work best to house an adult coastal. I am going to start the girl out in small clear tubs, but I would like to know ahead of time what the best adult display case would be. Thanks ahead of time for any info. -J.H.-

My 9 ft adult coastals are kept in 6x2x2 cages. I'd probably go with 8 ft cage if I was looking for an impressive display.

Kudos Dennis, for not keeping your animals in a tiny cage. I wish more people kept their animals in larger cages.

Hey I wanted to thank you for your post. Like BenTeam I appreciate the fact that you keep your big snakes in big tanks. All of the information I have gathered from various websites had me thinking a 4' cage would suit an adult coastal. Thanks again for the info. -J.H.-
