92F is waaaaay too much. 92 F is a good temp if youre trying to treat them for an RI but regular temps should be mid 80's. cool side should be lower 80's.

perfectly fine for a hot spot...........I find it risky to not provide a hot spot at least 90
Doesnt mean you cant get along with anything lower. Just my personal preferance to help me sleep better. Dont forget that snakes need a decent hot area to aid digestion.

2 cents.....nothing more.

I've read that ambient temp (inside the cage, towards the cool side) should be in the low to mid 80's range and the warm spot about 95 /- 5 degrees. Some people prefer to let the temp drop a little at night. humidity is important also. I try and keep the humidity at about 60-70 percent.

there is tons of good information on the web. a good reliable and yet simple book is the Boa Constrictor Manual co-authored by Jeffe Ronne.

by the way, when I first started reading this forum, it took me a long time to figure out what that "np" meant. I didn't grow up in the internet like some of you.
