Dwight, thanks as I had forgotten some of this. I was actually asked recently about the origin of the luecistic black rat and drew a blank. Had me going over some old forum stuff from years gone by. I sadly realized I wrote much better then. I need to drink more to recapture that skill.

Will you be heading to Daytona next week? As spectator or exhibitor?

Actually, what ratsnake breeders will be exhibiting their herps next week as I would like to make sure not to miss stopping by?

I'm going to do my best to make it. If I do it will be as a spectator. It wouldn't be much fun stuck behind a vendor table all weekend!

Agree with you there. Better to let others broker any herps produced on their tables as the weekend is spent spectating. Every now and again stop by to collect some cash to purchase more herps. Better yet, have what everone wants and sell all produced in one shot!!!!! Thats our direction as I tried tables years ago and it took all the fun out of it for me. I like staying a hobbyist.

We will be there Friday, leaving Monday as Daytona is a fun place to be on it's own. Adam's Mark and the Mayan are giving good rates for this Expo!!!! Just decided earlier today to make it a 3 day weekend. Called and still picked up a room, "luckily".

Does TC as in "Carpenter" still keep herps?

He started raising a 'pinky' a few years back and no longer keeps herps as far as I know.
